Academic Coordinator for Oodles Learning

1.Responsibilities

Oodles Learning – Primary Role (50%)
a) Academic student services process training
b) Teach and cover Oodles Learning classes
c) Class scheduling & student services
d) Teacher training on Oodles Learning courses
e) Teacher observation
f) Support OLAS with Oodles Learning teacher coaching
g) Support OLAS with Oodles Learning teacher refresher / teacher development
h) Conduct Oodles Learning placement tests and demo classes
i) Conduct Oodles Learning refresher / process trainings
j) Deliver Oodles Learning marketing demo classes to support center or Corporate Accounts Sales Executive in closing sales

OLAS Assistance – Secondary Role (50%)
a) Assist with sourcing, recruitment, and first-round interviews of teachers for ICR (offline/online), summer courses, and other ICR products
b) Assist with admin responsibilities for the onboarding of new teachers (e.g., offer letters, Academic Induction Program)
c) Assist with teacher onboarding trainings / orientations
d) Check and update teacher schedules
e) Assist with academic training for teachers and non-teachers
f) Assist with SOP development, checking, and revision
g) Perform other relevant support activities as assigned by OLAS, as required

2. Skills & requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • An English language certificate (IELTS, TOEIC, or equivalent) at C1 level is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in mathematics education.
  • Experience in teacher training, coaching, or academic management is highly desirable.
  • A teaching certificate in English (e.g., TESOL, CELTA, TEFL, or equivalent) is highly desirable. Skills
  • Strong understanding of mathematics pedagogy and curriculum design.
  • Understanding of Singapore Math, particularly the C.P.A (Concrete–Pictorial–Abstract) method, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to observe, evaluate, and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and familiar with digital teaching tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

  • Willingness to occasionally cover classes as needed.
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends when required for training or academic events.
